New distributor for ABRS publications
As of Friday, 28 November 2008 ABRS publications will no longer be available through ABRS. We are currently negotiating with a new distributor and once awarded, contact details will be advertised here.
Any book orders received after the 28 November by ABRS, will not be processed by ABRS. Once contact details are advertised, you will need to submit your order through the new distributor’s website.
We expect that the new distributor will commence sales of ABRS publications shortly and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Invitation to help update the 2nd Edition
Numbers of Living Species in Australia and the World
Some years ago ABRS published a report on the “Numbers of Living Species in Australia and the World”. The report was authored and compiled by Arthur Chapman.
This document was largely a synthesis of published information, and information supplied to Arthur by researchers around Australia and the world, and Arthur would like to thank all those who supplied him with information at the time.

ABRS now wishes for the document to be updated.
If anyone has any comments on the document, references to relevant papers, or any other information, we would be most grateful if you could send this on to Arthur for use in the updated version.
